Vote Early and Often!
I'm leaving Taos tomorrow AM. Where should I go?
A) Durango B) Santa Fe C) Monument Valley D) Mexico E) Other

How can you not get a glimpse of "purple mountains' majesty" at sometime during your trip?
I'd vote for Paris, but you didn't include it. Depends on how you wish to cross the Continental Divide. There are the BIG and LITTLE ways. I can't advise.

Another vote? I just looked at the map, and a website for Durango. Didn't know Mesa Verde is there! Sounds good, but still I'm not willing to advise.
P.S. Grand Canyon is worth it.
